Silver:

Interval training is introduced as well as endurance. Proper technique remains an important factor in all training groups of the Swim Team. Although all practices are not mandatory, it is useful to attend as many as possible. We recommend swimmers attend at least 3 practices every week and compete in meets once a month.

Swimmer Requirements:

  • 500 yards Continuous Freestyle

  • 6x100 yards Freestyle Swim on an interval

  • 4x100 IM on an interval

  • demonstrate all turns and touches legally

  • Read pace clock for interval training
    Attend at least 3 practices per week

  • Swimmers are encouraged to swim all year.

  • Swimmers should commit to attending competitions throughout the calendar year

  • Swimmers must demonstrate both physical and emotional maturity.

 

 

Equipment Needed:

Fins, pull buoy, kickboard, front snorkel, and water bottle. They should be prepared to do dryland (sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, etc.) everyday, but we will not do dryland every day.
